I support the team with drafting, filing and prosecuting patent applications and oppositions to patents in a wide range of industries in the technology space, working on artificial intelligence (AI), software applications, fintech and The Internet of Things. I really enjoy learning about new technologies and working with a wide range of clients.

During my third year at university, I attended a Women in STEM careers talk given by a patent attorney. That piqued my interest, and I embarked on a career in patents following the completion of my Masters in Physics with Astrophysics. Moreover, my final year project was looking for dark matter signatures from Higgs boson decays at CERN using machine learning (ML). It was this work that started my interest in AI.

The AI and quantum tech side of the industry really interests me in particular. In addition, I’m really passionate about sustainability, and would love to get further involved in the green technologies sector as my career develops.
