Lucy is a Patent Attorney in the High Tech and Electrical Group.
Lucy assists with the preparation, filing and prosecution of patent applications in the UK, Europe and worldwide. She works across a wide range of technologies including scientific instruments, semiconductor devices, electrical vehicles and medical devices. She works with clients ranging from start-ups to large multinational companies.
Lucy has an MSci and PhD from the University of Cambridge. She studied a range of physical sciences before specialising in physics and carrying out research into microelectronics. Subsequently, her doctoral research in the Thin Film Magnetism Group at the Cavendish Laboratory investigated the use of fluid-suspended magnetic microparticles to create a multi-channel tag.
