View all vacanciesDavid is a European Patent Attorney in the High Tech and Electrical group. He joined the firm in 2018, after previously working for the UK Intellectual Property Office as a Patent Examiner. David assists with the preparation, filing, and prosecution of patent applications in the UK, Europe, and worldwide in industry sectors including software, IT, and telecommunications.
David obtained a BSc in Physics at the University of Surrey, which included a placement year at a London-based acoustics consultancy where he was actively involved in the computer modelling of various residential and industrial noise environments. His final year project involved the design and modelling of photonic crystal nanolasers using finite difference time domain analysis. David’s work during the course of his undergraduate study and placement year has given him valuable insight into a variety of computer modelling and simulation techniques.
