I joined Boult in 2018 in the European patent grant and validation team, where I worked for four years. However, I was keen to expand my knowledge further across patents law and passed the CIPA IP Paralegal qualification in 2024. I now work as a Client Relations Specialist (CRS).
Every day is different and I enjoy dealing with new types of European and UK filings. I work closely with two partners in the firm who handle significantly different styles of high tech work, while also supporting my principal client, for whom I am head CRS. Day-to-day I manage all EP communications for my principal client, reporting to them directly and updating their patent management system. I also proof read and amend patent specifications ahead of filing. I see plenty of interesting patent topics in my day-to-day role and each day brings a something new to learn which is always exciting.
I am also a member of Boults charity committee, helping to organise and manage fundraisers and events to help raise money for a new chosen charity each year.
