I started my career at Boult in the facilities department as a summer job before starting my studies in forensic biology at university. During that time, I had the opportunity to start some project work in the records/renewals department which extended beyond the summer – and the rest is history!
Having completed over 15 years’ service at Boult, I have had the privilege to work in many different teams within the support department and gain experience in the use of multiple docketing systems. I hold a CIPA Patent Administration Certificate and a CITMA (Trade Mark) Paralegal Certificate and have also mentored many team members through their CIPA Patent Administration course.
My role requires a degree of creativity in finding the best configuration of our systems based on new scenarios and law changes around the world. I am adept at managing a diverse workload in collaboration with multiple departments across the firm. I take pride in my attention to detail and ability to consider many different viewpoints and to strategise accordingly, which assists significantly in this role.
