Candidate profile
Most of our work is for direct UK, European and US clients, ranging in size from multinationals to smaller start-ups. We expect the role to entail a substantial amount of drafting work and prosecuting patent families from first UK filings through to grant in Europe and beyond. There will also be a substantial amount of direct client and inventor contact.
The subject matter would be predominantly general/mechanical/aeronautical engineering and would include construction equipment, medical devices, aircraft, energy systems, control systems and other technologies.
We offer a top-of-class training program and focus our efforts on producing well-trained patent attorneys. We send trainees to external training courses in preparation for their exams and run several in-house tutorials for each exam. The successful candidate will receive training from multiple supervisors, thereby diversifying their learning experience.
