I have worked in the intellectual property (IP) industry for nearly ten years and have been with Boult for the past four years as part of the trade mark team.
I currently work as a Client Relations Specialist as part of a team managing a multinational automotive company. The responsibilities of this role include preparation of UK, EU, foreign and international filings, including the management of cases from the initial application stage all the way to registration. Additional responsibilities include management of billing processes, conducting thorough review of invoices, preparation of schedules of the clients’ portfolios and upcoming deadlines. The role has been meticulously designed to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness for the client.
Another one of my primary responsibilities is gathering large amounts of evidence for European litigation and disputes for my colleagues in Munich. This process involves conducting extensive research, assembling evidence, and reviewing all evidence to check it is in line with EUIPO guidelines.
I find the IP industry to be both fascinating and rewarding.
