Qualifications

CITMA Paralegal Qualification, Legal Administration Diploma

I have worked in the intellectual property (IP) industry for over ten years and have been with Boult for over four years as part of the trade mark team.

I currently work as a Client Relations Specialist as part of a team managing our work with a multinational automotive company. I take the lead on managing communications with the client, support on the preparation of UK, EU, foreign and international filings and the handle the management of cases from the initial application stage all the way to registration.

Additional responsibilities include management of billing processes, conducting thorough review of invoices, preparation of schedules of the clients’ portfolios and upcoming deadlines. The role has been meticulously designed to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness for the client.

Another one of my primary responsibilities is gathering large amounts of evidence for European litigation and disputes for my colleagues in Munich. This process involves conducting extensive research, assembling evidence, and reviewing all evidence to check it is in line with EUIPO guidelines.

I also take the lead on responding to enquiries from new clients. Specifically, that includes discussing potential costs, considering the availability of trade marks, explaining the trade mark procedure. Introducing clients who have never pursued a trade mark before and introducing to them to how the process works is something I find very rewarding.
