  • Chartered Patent Attorney
  • Certificate in Intellectual Property Law, Queen Mary University of London
  • MSc Biophysics and Molecular Life Sciences, University of Bristol
  • BSc Biology, University of Bristol

Having completed a BSc in Biology and an MSc in Biophysics and Molecular Life Sciences, I discovered the IP profession when researching careers that would allow me to put my studies into practice, without being confined to the lab.

I work across patent applications in the UK, Europe and worldwide, with a focus on small-molecule pharmaceuticals, therapeutic antibodies and agricultural biotechnology.

In my role as a Patent Attorney, I assist clients in finding creative solutions to protect their intellectual property. I frequently support clients in navigating both the nuances of European patent practice and the practicalities and strategies for managing global portfolios. I also have experience in excluded subject matters internationally. I find the challenge of identifying and implementing appropriate strategies to manage these aspects of international prosecution highly rewarding.

Recent experience

Assisting on the filing and examination of global patent portfolios for SMEs and multinational pharmaceutical companies.

Providing tailored advice for protection of pharmaceutical inventions to navigate local requirements across international portfolios.
