I joined BWT in 2018. I moved to our Trade Mark and Doman Names Group in 2021. I was called to the Bar of England and Wales in July 2021, at that time I was a Paralegal for our Trade Mark and Doman Names Group, which gave me an insight into the profession. Shortly after that I became a Trade Mark Assistant.
In terms of my day to day, I support partners and attorneys with a wide range of trade mark matters in the UK and internationally, including filing, prosecution, oppositions and advisory matters. I have been commended on my attention to detail, organisation skills and possessing a natural curiosity to get to the bottom of issues.
The most rewarding part of my role is seeing our clients trade marks in use in the market, whether that be for a product or a brand on social media, TV or in a shop. I work alongside a variety of clients across different sectors including pharmaceutical, media and the automotive retail industry, amongst others.
Qualifications
—Bachelor of Laws with Honours LLB with Business Management – 1st Class
—LLM Legal Practice Course (Barristers) – Distinction, BPP Law School London
