Paul is a Chartered Patent Attorney, European Patent Attorney and European Design Attorney in the Engineering and Designs Group.
He specialises in the drafting, filing and prosecution of Patent applications before the UK and European Patent Offices, and internationally. He is also experienced in the filing and prosecution of UK, European Community and foreign Design applications. Paul deals with a range of mechanical and aeronautical subject matter, with particular experience in the automotive, marine, construction, and packaging fields.
Paul also specialises in giving strategic advice to clients on the development, management and acquisition of Intellectual Property portfolios. He also has particular experience in patent and design searching with respect to novelty, validity and infringement, and of the securitisation of Intellectual Property rights.
