Alexander is a German Solicitor (“Rechtsanwalt”) in our Berlin office. He advises in all areas of intellectual property law, in particular trademark law, copyright law and unfair competition law. He focuses on advising international companies from the consumer goods, media and cosmetics sectors as well as start-ups on product launches, marketing campaigns, the management of their trademark portfolios and the protection and enforcement of their intellectual property rights, both in and out of court. In addition, he coordinates the international proceedings in case of infringement of intellectual property rights abroad. Alexander also has extensive experience in drafting and negotiating complex IP agreements, in particular the transfer of intellectual property rights and the granting of licenses.
Before joining Boult Wade Tennant, Alexander worked in the IP department of two international business law firms in Berlin and worked for several years in the trademark department of one of the leading German IP boutiques in Hamburg.
Alexander Stolz is fluent in German and English and has basic knowledge of French.
