Boult Wade Tennant is proud to that announce Dr James Short has been elected, at the recent AIPPI UK AGM, to step into the role of AIPPI UK Treasurer. He will be taking over from current Treasurer, Boult Wade Tennant Partner Dr Michelle Pratt.

After over six years in the role, Michelle has decided to stand down from the prestigious position, but will remain an active member of the AIPPI UK council.

Speaking of the appointment, James has said he is “delighted and honoured to have been chosen by the AIPPI council for this position and is looking forward to the new challenge”.

The AIPPI World Congress 2019 will take place this week, 15-18 September, in London. Boult Wade Tennant is proud to be the official sponsor of the Women in AIPPI networking event being held on 16 September, an event which sets out to unite women in the IP field from all over the world. Several of the Boult Wade Tennant team will be attending, including: Dr Michelle Pratt, Claire Baldock (UK Council Member, and member of the sub-committee for Biotechnology and Plant Varieties), Dr Nina White, Dr Jo Pelly, Catherine Wolfe, Joanna PeakSusi Fish, and Anusha Arunasalam.
