Last week, Partner Catherine Wolfe attended the UK-China IP Symposium in Beijing, in her capacity as Immediate Past President of the Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys. The British team was led by the new IP Minister, Baroness Neville-Rolfe, and an extensive delegation from the UK IPO, as well as the High Court Judge Sir Colin Birss and industry renowned experts from leading UK IP firms. After attending a number of different events in China, the delegation closed with a public lecture at the Customs House in Hong Kong by Sir Colin Birss and then a question and answer session where Sir Colin was supported by Nathan Abraham of the UK-IPO and by Catherine Wolfe.
