Graduate / Post Graduate Recruitment
Boult Wade Tennant usually takes on one or two graduates each year to train as Registered and European Trade Mark Attorneys.
Entrants should have a good degree (2.1 or above) - law or modern languages being preferred. Graduates with degrees in subjects other than languages or law should have language skills, preferably French, Spanish or Italian.
We seek individuals with good academic skills, well rounded personalities, and the ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing.
Training
To assist our trainees in passing their examinations, we provide a high level of in-house training. Trainees gain practical experience working alongside partners on client matters. This experience is supplemented by internal and external seminars, tutorials and courses.
Examinations
Our trainees take the examinations of the UK Professional Institute - The Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys. These examinations lead to the qualifications of Registered Trade Mark Attorney and European Trade Mark Attorney.
Employment Package
We offer competitive salaries at all stages during and beyond qualification. Our employment package currently includes a contributory pension scheme, private health insurance, season ticket loans and an annual holiday bonus. The annual leave entitlement is 20 days.
