Four are broad-based technical Groups - the Engineering and Designs, Biotechnology and Life Sciences, Chemical and Materials, and High Tech and Electrical Groups - which deal with patents, designs and copyright within those areas of technology. The fifth Group handles Trade Marks and Domain Name matters.

There are also two specialist teams which have members drawn from the five Groups mentioned above. Our New Ventures team advises small businesses and individuals who are new to intellectual property and our Legal Support team provides assistance in the management of contentious actions and other IP-related legal matters.
